Exceptional Softmount Choices from Cissell
Cissell’s exceptional choices for on-premises laundries just got better as the brand will introduce softmount washer-extractors in three new capacities — 100, 135 and 165 pounds — to its CHF line. The new models bolster the current line, which includes 18-, 25-, 35-, 55- and 75-pound machines.
Each machine is built on a heavy-duty steel I-frame that incorporates the bearing housing, which helps increase overall stability and minimize vibration. Springs and shock absorbers further enhance its rigidity and enable the washer-extractor to be installed without hardware or extra concrete pads — keeping installation costs low.
While durable construction is the foundation for its machines, Cissell innovations such as an electronic repetition system keep loads spinning. The system detects out-of-balance loads and corrects issues to prevent damage that could occur during extraction. Cycles are interrupted if an out-of-balance load is detected. Once an even balance is established, the load returns to the high-speed extract cycle.
Laundry managers will appreciate the CHF’s user-friendly programmable PS-40 microprocessor control. The control features 10 preset options and holds 40 total programs, enabling managers to program variables such as wash cycles, spin speeds and water levels.
The high-speed 296 to 419 G-force extraction cycle of Cissell’s softmount washers also helps make an immediate impact on expenses by removing more moisture from loads, compared to older low-speed washers. Less residual moisture means reduced dry times and, as a result, lower utility consumption. For laundries utilizing flatwork finishers, linens can go directly from the washer to the finisher, with no drying necessary.
Exceptional also describes the quality of these new Cissell washer-extractors, as well as all the brand’s equipment. The units come with a three-year limited warranty as well as a five-year warranty on the frame and shaft.
